The port of San Vicente in the municipality of Sta Ana in Cagayan is three hours by van from Tuguegarao City. The fare is P180 (as of Feb 2014). It serves as the access point to many islands in the north of the Philippines including the Calayan Islands and Palaui. To get to San Vicente, take a tricycle from the town center of Sta Ana. The short ride will just take about 10 minutes.

Sta Ana, a second class municipality, lies in the northeastern tip of Luzon. It houses the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), a booming business center that enjoys the proximity to the shipping centers of Taiwan and Hong Kong. The area is known for posh hotels and casinos.
