I’ve Been to Manila Series

Game for Sunday morning jog? Go to La Mesa EcoPark in Fairview, Quezon City. A forested area covering 2700 hectares of land, the La Mesa Watershed is the last forest of its size in the metro. It’s hidden deep in the urban area of Quezon City, and is well-kept by MWSS, ABS-CBN, the Quezon City government, and private sponsors.

Aside from the jogging trail, La Mesa Ecopark has a bike trail, making it good for outdoor activities. Other facilities in the park that the entire family will enjoy are the swimming pool (for a fee), the fishing lagoon, the flower terraces, picnic grounds, and butterfly hatchery.

For directions in getting to La Mesa Ecopark, you can visit this site.
